Authorities said Ebright has numerous protection from abuse order violation warrants for contacting the victim.

Troopers learned Ebright was in the victim's apartment in Edgmont, and that he sent text messages to her saying he was in her apartment and shared his location with her, indicating he was in her residence.

Troopers searched the apartment but did not find Ebright.

Investigators were unable to find Ebright after several hours and various attempts to find him using drones, K-9 officers, and searching known previous addresses in Marcus Hook, Upper Providence Township, and Ridley Creek State Park.

Then on Monday, troopers were called in to conduct surveillance at Ebright’s last known address on Valley View Road in Upper Providence.

At about 9:47 a.m., troopers saw Ebright go into the residence, and authorities established a perimeter around the premises to limit Ebright’s movement from the home.

After getting a search warrant for the residence and due to information gathered from the homeowner, the Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team was brought in to help serve the search arrant and three arrest warrants for Ebright.

After negotiators convinced him to exit the residence, Ebright was taken into custody just before 4 p.m. Monday.

He is being held on $100,000 bail, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 8, court records show.
