Man Charged With Kidnapping, More After Delco Baby Snatching Incident

UPPER DARBY, PA — A Norristown man has been charged with felony crimes after he tried to take a young child from a mother's arms in Delaware County, according to authorities and reports.
Khrishon Parker, 22, of Norristown, is charged with two felony counts of kidnapping, felony aggravated assault, felony unlawful restraint, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and terroristic threats court records show.
The charges stem from an Oct. 15 incident in Upper Darby.

According to Action News, the victim was going to her home with her 2-year-old child when Parker approached them, grabbed the victim's arm, and told her to give his daughter back. The child is not Parker's daughter.
A neighbor in the area heard the commotion and leaped into action, separating Parker from the victim and her child and holding him until police arrived, according to Daily Local News.

Parker is being held on 10 percent of $50,000 bail and is scheduled for an Oct. 30 preliminary hearing, court documents show.
