New Rita's Expected To Open in a Couple of Weeks

In just a couple of weeks, Havertown's new Rita's Water Ice is expected to open. Tom Esposito, also the owner of the Rita's Water Ice on Eagle Road, has partnered up with Ron Calvey, owner of a Rita's Water Ice in Drexel Hill.

Both decided to collaborate to build a new Rita's Water Ice shop on the site of a former gas station. It's at the midpoint of both their stores. According to Esposito, a special 50 percent off promotion is planned for opening day. A soft opening will happen in a couple of weeks but the official grand opening will happen in May, said Esposito.

The new Rita's Water Ice in Havertown will be located at 509 West Chester Pike, just west of Steel Road on the eastbound side of the road and next to the Pep Boys.
