Police Blotter: Snowballs Cause Mayhem
And a lot of identity theft cases, including one were someone allegedly stole a person's identity to create a Direct TV account.

INCIDENTS:
Theft at the 2500 block of Belmont Avenue on 1/26 at 7:26 a.m. — Unlocked vehicle was entered — laptop and loose change were stolen.
Theft at the unit block of Hannum Drive on 1/26 at 5:21 p.m. — Victim reported that her i-Phone was stolen from her jacket while she was attending a party.

Retail Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 1/27 at 5:14 p.m. — A females in their 20s stole $28 worth of merchandise and fled the store.
Theft at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 1/27 at 6:42 p.m. — Victim reported that someone stole his unattended wallet containing cash, debit cards, driver's license and numerous membership cards.

Fraud at the unit block of W. Langhorne Avenue on 1/27 at 10:48 a.m. — Victim reported that an unknown person opened a Direct TV account using his identity.
Motor Vehicle Theft at the 2300 block of Darby Road on 1/28 at 7:57 a.m. — Victim’s secured vehicle was stolen from her apartment buildings parking lot.
Vandalism at Lynnewood ElementarySchool (1400 block of Lawrence Road) on 1/28 at 11:49 a.m. — Victim reported that a person known to him punched his side view mirror causing a piece of the molding to fall off.
Disorderly Conduct at the 400 block of Upland Road on 1/28 at 7:29 p.m. — Victim reported that a group of juveniles threw snowballs at her residence.
Theft at Starbucks (1200 block of West Chester Pike) on 1/29 at 8:51 p.m. — Victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse. Her wallet contained numerous credit cards and an unknown person made multiple purchases with the credit cards.
Simple Assault at Eagle and Warren Roads on 1/29 at 2:13 p.m. — Victim reported that an unknown male threw a snowball at her from their moving vehicle causing her to fall.
Public Drunkenness at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) 1/29 at 4:34 p.m. — Officers were dispatched for an intoxicated person causing a disturbance. John Hennessy refused to leave the campus and urinated on the side of the building. Hennessy, 47, 1000 block of W. Bridge Street, Phoenixville, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
Disorderly Conduct at McGarrity and Moser (600 block of West Chester Pike) on 1/29 at 10:02 p.m. — Officers were dispatched for a group of juveniles throwing snowballs at passing vehicles. Upon arrival the officer observed two juveniles hiding behind a vehicle. The juveniles admitted to throwing the snowballs and were verbally reprimanded and released to their parents.
Disorderly Conduct at Wyndmoor Apartments (100 block of S. Eagle Road) on 1/29 at 11:03 p.m. — Officers were dispatched to the apartment for a loud argument. Upon arrival officers observed a female yelling at a male. The female, Jessical Anne Clark, was screaming obscenities at that male causing the neighbors to become alarmed. Clark failed to comply with the officers’ demands to calm down and was charged for disorderly conduct.
Theft at the 600 block of Valley Road on 1/30 at 2:24 p.m. — Victim reported that jewelry was stolen from her residence by a person known to her.
Retail Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 1/30 at 5:05 p.m. — Parminder Kaur, 20, unit block of S. Sproul Road, Broomall, was cited for the retail theft of $105 worth of merchandise.
Liquor Law Violation at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue On 1/30 at 1:32 a.m. — Officers were dispatched for an alcohol overdose. Upon arrival officers observed a male vomiting. Avi Bregman was transported to the hospital for treatment. Bregman, 18, 6000 block of Robin Hill Road, Nashville, TN, was cited for underage drinking.
Theft at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 1/31 at 11:16 a.m. — Victim reported that cash was stolen from her unattended purse while she was in the dining hall.
Identity Theft at the 300 block of Kenmore Road on 1/31 at 11:26 a.m. — An unknown person was using the victim's social security number for employment causing the victim to be denied for unemployment benefits.
Public Drunkenness at the 1400 block of Lawrence Road on 1/31 at 4:09 a.m. — Officers were dispatched for a domestic. Upon arrival officers observed a male standing outside of the apartment. His posture was unbalanced and officers could detect a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person. Tyree Hawkins, 30, 6100 block of Cedar Street, Philadelphia, was cited for public drunkenness.
