Robbery, Firearm Violations, Fraud, Theft: Haverford Crime Blotter
Haverford Police charged a Philadelphia man with robbery, burglary, and more in connection with a Cedarbrook Road incident.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford shared details on recent crime incidents in the township.
These incidents occurred between Sept. 10 and Sep. 16.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Fraud at the unit block of Park Ridge Drive on Sept. 10 at 7:51 a.m.– The victim reported that a check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
- Fraud at the 100 block of S. Manoa Road on Sept. 10 at 6:23 p.m. – Two unauthorized purchases were made with the victim’s credit card.
- Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Sept. 11 at 10:41 a.m. – A cell phone was stolen while it was left unattended on a bench.
- Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Sept. 12 at 9:37 a.m. – The victim reported that her wallet containing $300.00, driver’s license, insurance cards and credit cards was stolen. Three fraudulent purchases were made with the credit cards.
- Theft at the 700 block of Panmure Road on Sept. 12 at 4:14 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
- Theft at Mr. Storage, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Sept. 12 at 4:27 p.m. – The victim reported artwork, Oakley sunglasses, bike helmet and a key to her bike lock were stolen from her storage unit.
- Criminal Mischief at Darby Road and Langhorne Avenue on Sept. 13 at 11:41 p.m. – Vehicle was struck by eggs.
- Theft at the 300 block of Valley Road on Sept. 13 at 9:06 a.m. – Two vehicles were entered – driver’s license and debit card were stolen.
- Theft at the 1300 block of Edgewood Road on Sept. 14 at 1:14 p.m. – A battery powered doorbell was ripped down from the front doorway of the residence.
- Theft at the unit block of East Mercer Avenue on Sept. 14 at 3:28 p.m. – Two unlocked vehicles were entered – two credit cards were taken.
- Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Sept. 15 at 10:16 a.m. – An unknown male stole $1,473.95 worth of merchandise.
- Criminal Mischief at Preston Field, 800 block of Martin Avenue, on Sept. 16 at 3:38 p.m. – Graffiti was discovered near the basketball court.
- Disorderly Conduct at the unit block of East Benedict Avenue on Sept. 16 at 5:28 p.m. – Two juveniles were cited for disorderly conduct for stealing a skateboard

Charges: Firearms not to be carried without a license, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Wawa, unit block of E. Eagle Road. Date: Sept. 10 at 7:55 a.m.
- 19-year-old male, 100 block of Wellington Lakes Drive, Fredericksburg, VA. Charges: Firearms not to be carried without a license, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Wawa, unit block of E. Eagle Road. Date: Sept. 10 at 7:55 a.m.
- 25-year-old female, 8800 block of Stevenson Lane, Spotsylvania, VA. Charges: Firearms not to be carried without a license, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Wawa, unit block of E. Eagle Road. Date: Sept. 10 at 7:55 a.m.
- 16-year-old male was petitioned to juvenile court.
- 37-year-old male, 1500 block of N. Stillman Street, Philadelphia. Charges : Robbery, harassment, burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Location: unit block of Cedarbrook Road. Date: Sept. 14 at 2:54 p.m.
- 34-year-old female, unit block of Claremont Boulevard. Charges: DUI, careless driving, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Township Line Road and West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 14 at 1:40 a.m.
