Delco Man Posed As Girl To Solicit Nude Photos From Minor: AG

Authorities said he posed as a girl online, solicited nude photos from a minor, then threatened to release them to get even more photos.

HAVERTOWN, PA — State authorities have said a Havertown man is accused of sexual extortion and child porn crimes after posing as a girl online to solicit nude photos from a minor.

Cameron Fusto, 18, of Havertown, is charged with two child pornography-related crimes, attempted criminal sexual extortion, sexual abuse of a minor, and criminal use of a communication facility. All charges filed against him are felonies.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office said the charges stem from Fusto's online activity.

The AG's Office claims Fusto posed as a girl on social media to obtain nude photographs of a minor.

He then exploited the victim, threatening to publicize the nude photos if the minor did not send more photos, according to authorities.

The Delaware County Daily Times reports the victim was a 14-year-old boy and the communications took place on Instagram.

Fusto was released after posting 10 percent of $250,000 bail on Feb. 12.

He is scheduled for a Feb. 27 preliminary hearing, court records show.
