Strangulation, Identity Theft, Vandalism: Haverford Crime Blotter

Incidents in the blotter occurred between April 30 and May 6.

- Public Drunkenness at the unit block of E. Township Line Road on April 30 at 3:56 p.m. – 61-year-old male, 200 block of Wildwood Avenue, Lansdowne was cited for public drunkenness.
- Theft at Haverford Middle School, 1700 block of Darby Road, on April 30 at 2:52 p.m. – An electric scooter was stolen from the bicycle rack.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 30 at 9:20 a.m. – An unknown female has been under-ringing her merchandise at the self-checkout on several occasions. Total loss was $656.57 worth of merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 30 at 2:30 p.m. – Loss Prevention Officer reported that two thefts were committed by the same unknown male. In total, the suspect stole $221.29 worth of merchandise.
- Identity Theft at the 600 block of Ardmore Avenue on May 1 at 8:33 p.m. – The victim reported that someone used her identity to open a Verizon account and purchased an i-phone.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on May 2 at 6:56 a.m. – An unknown male stole $82.72 worth of merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on May 2 at 10:36 a.m. – An unknown female stole $291.48 worth of merchandise.
- Criminal Mischief at Merion Golf Club, 400 block of Ardmore Avenue, on May 3 at 9:06 a.m. – An unknown actor damaged the 10th green.
- Identity Theft at the unit block of E. Benedict Avenue on May 4 at 12:20 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to purchase a vehicle.
- Criminal Mischief at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on May 5 at 8:34 p.m. – Four tires on a vehicle were flat.
- Retail Theft at Wawa, unit block of E. Eagle Road, on May 5 at 8:14 p.m. – Two unknown males stole approximately $50 worth of merchandise.
- Theft at the 1800 block of Winton Avenue on May 6 at 1:36 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered - $87 was stolen from a wallet.
