Teen In Custody In Connection With Fatal Shooting Of Delco Boy: Report
Khalief Webster, 16, was shot to death Sunday in Upper Darby. Another teen is now in custody in connection with the deadly shooting.
UPPER DARBY, PA — A teenager has reportedly been taken into custody in connection with the fatal weekend shooting of another teen in Delaware County.
Fox 29 reports a 17-year-old was taken into custody in connection with Sunday's shooting in Upper Darby. The teen was transferred to a detention center around 3 a.m. Wednesday, the outlet reports.
Upper Darby Police Tuesday night served search warrants at two locations, and were clear of those locations in about an hour's time.

The shooting happened at about 2:58 p.m. Sunday, near Long Lane and Pine Street.
A 16-year-old boy died as a result of the shooting.

Action News identified the victim as Khalief Webster.
Upper Darby Police said Webster and another teenage boy got into an argument, and at some point the suspect shot Webster in the lower back.
Webster was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
