Teen Fatally Shot In Delaware County Sunday, Suspect Sought

Police said two teenagers were involved in an argument Sunday afternoon, and at some point in the argument, one teen fatally shot the other.

UPPER DARBY, PA — A teenage boy died after a shooting in Delaware Count Sunday afternoon, according to local police.

Upper Darby Police said the shooting happened at about 2:58 p.m. Sunday, near Long Lane and Pine Street.

A 16-year-old boy died as a result of the shooting.

According to police, the victim and another teenage boy got into an argument, and at some point the suspect shot the victim in the lower back.

The boy was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

Police released photos of a person who is wanted in connection with the shooting.
