Watch Highlight Reel of Previous U.S. Open at Merion

The U.S. Open has been held at Merion Golf Club four times before next month's major tournament there. You can catch a glimpse of what the players see when the Golf Channel replays highlights from the 1971 Open in two weeks.

A recap of that Merion tournament, which ended up in a duel between golfing greats Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino, will be shown on the Golf Channel at 8 p.m. May 28, according to an announcement on Tuesday.

The 2013 U.S. Open at Merion begins Thursday, June 13 and concludes Sunday, June 16, if won outright. (U.S. Open playoffs last 18 holes and are contested the day after the fourth and final round of regulation play.)
