  • Whiz Kid's Name: The Middle School Mathcounts Team
  • Whiz Kid's School: The Haverford School
  • Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Competed in a regional math contest
  • Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: "The Haverford School's The Middle School Mathcounts Team competed in the regional contest on Feb. 5 at Upper Merion Middle School and finished 3rd out of 24 schools. Eighth-grader Nathan Kidambi finished 2nd in the individual rounds and 3rd overall, qualifying him for the State Competition in March. The team members are: Kidambi, eighth-grader Manav Khandelwal, eighth-grader Tim Delaney, seventh-grader Colin McCloskey, seventh-grader Peter Hart, seventh-grader Eli Wachs, seventh-grader Sam Shaw, and seventh-grader Jonas Micolucci," according to Dawn Blake, assistant director of communications/ public relations manager at the Haverford School
