Women Sought For Distraction Burglary In Delaware County: Police

Police in Delaware County said four transient women of Eastern European descent stole jewelry from a home in a distraction burglary.

UPPER DARBY, PA — Authorities in Delaware County are asking for help finding four women who used distraction tactics to steal jewelry from a home.

According to Upper Darby Police, the incident happened at a home in the Kirklyn section of Upper Darby recently.

Police said two women approached the homeowner with a false purchase offer.

A third woman acted as a lookout, while the fourth went into the home and stole jewelry.

Police said the women are believed to be transient and of Eastern European descent.

Anyone who recognizes the women or has information on them is urged to contact Upper Darby Police at 610-734-7693. Police said to call 911 when witnessing anything suspicious.
