• Saint Francis Men's Basketball Falls At Temple (sfuathletics.com) — A Havertown native, Gestin Liberis, got a special homecoming moment as Saint Francis men’s basketball visited Temple, where he played before family and friends and posted six points and six rebounds. Despite his effort and a big second-half push, the Red Flash fell 95–67 after Temple’s dominant early run. Local fans can keep following Liberis as Saint Francis heads to nationally ranked Florida next.
   

• Surprise Engagement Proposal at School Shows Couple's Deep Catholic Roots (catholicphilly.com) — A local Catholic school teacher’s surprise classroom proposal has a Havertown connection through family: the groom’s sister-in-law serves as principal of Sacred Heart School in town. The couple’s story highlights deep roots in area Catholic education, with relatives leading schools from Upper Darby to Havertown and beyond, and a wedding planned for 2027.
   

• Customers, Staff at Barnaby's of Havertown Remember Owner Bill Daley (delco.today) — Havertown regulars and staff are mourning Bill Daley, the longtime owner who built Barnaby’s of Havertown into a beloved neighborhood sports bar and led its rapid comeback after a devastating 2017 fire. Daley, remembered as a hands-on leader deeply involved in the community, died Nov. 26 at age 82 and is being honored across the Barnaby’s family.
