Accident Near High School Involved Teen Driver: Police

Lower Saucon Township Police say a car accident that occurred near Saucon Valley High School earlier this month was caused by a driver under the age of 18.

A two-car accident near Saucon Valley High School that caused injuries earlier this month occurred when a teen driver "did not yield to right-of-way traffic while entering a roadway," Lower Saucon Township Police announced in a press release.

Police said the boy "pulled in front of" a vehicle operated by a township woman.

The April 15 accident happened at about 4:15 p.m. at Reservoir Road and Panther Way, police said.

The boy—who was not named because he is a minor—was cited following the accident, police added.
