HELLERTOWN, PA —Without community leaders, Hellertown wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.

What does this community leader do?

He is on the Borough Council, the Hellertown Historical Society, Lions, and also on the board with the Hellertown area library

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

Andrew always goes above and beyond. If any community event needs a volunteer he is there volunteering. He has brought a lot of transparency to the residents through his work on the Council.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

Anyone who knows Andrew knows that he is always willing to help —to help serve hot dogs at community events and to help the community find ways to increase revenue so that taxes do not need to be raised.
