Battery Stolen from Car Parked in Garage, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating the theft of a battery from a car parked inside a Steel City garage.

Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating the theft of a car battery.

Sometime between April 20 and April 27, the battery—which is valued at $100—was removed from a 1998 Chrysler Sebring that was parked in a garage in the 2500 block of Riverside Drive, Steel City, police said in a news release.

Police said an estimated $250 in damage was done to the vehicle to get the battery out of it.
