Eagle Scouts Commended by Township Council
On April 18, Local Eagle Scouts Alan and Adam Molder were recognized by Lower Saucon Township Council for volunteer work they performed at St. Luke's (Old Williams) Church.

Two local Eagle Scouts who happen to be brothers were recently recognized by Lower Saucon Township Council for the volunteer work they completed in order to reach that rank.
At council's April 18 meeting, Alan Molder (a junior at ) and his brother Adam Molder (a freshman) were recognized with an official resolution and certificates of appreciation.
Alan Molder is currently studying masonry at Bethlehem Vocational-Technical School and built a pergola above an outdoor stage at in order to become an Eagle Scout.

Adam Molder, who participates in both football and lacrosse and has served as an assistant patrol leader since 2008, refurbished the outdoor stage to earn his title.
"I think it's great the kids are participating in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, whatever," councilwoman Priscilla deLeon commented. "It keeps them occupied."

The Molder brothers, who were accompanied by their parents at the meeting, are members of Troop 319.
