Hellertown Brownies Plan Earth Day Clean-Up

The Saucon Creek's banks will be cleaner thanks to Hellertown Brownie Troop 8523.

On March 19, the girls and and their leaders received permission from Hellertown Borough Council to pick up trash along the stream on April 21.

After several of the girls explained to council why cleaning up the local waterway is important, they were thanked for their efforts.

The clean-up will be in celebration of Earth Day, and will enable the Brownies to earn their Water Journey badges.
