Man to Be Charged with Drug-Related Offenses
On Feb. 7, police say they stopped Patrick J. Brohel, 26, of the 800 block of Rocky Valley Road, Springfield Township, in the 1000 block of Main Street. "Upon further investigation, both a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the vehicle," police said in a press release. Brohel will be charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privileges are suspended, they added.
Hellertown Teen Charged with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct

On March 31 at 2:26am, police say they conducted a traffic stop and DUI investigation on West Depot Street. During their investigation, police say Kalliope Mouras, 18, of the first block of West Depot Street, Hellertown, "persisted on acting in a disorderly manner, despite the lawful orders (to desist) of police on scene." Although Mouras was not the subject of their initial investigation, police said her actions "culminated in her arrest," which she allegedly resisted. Mouras has been charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, underage drinking and public drunkenness, police said.Â
