Police Investigating Hit-and-Run Accident at Linden and Second
Sometime between 6pm on April 20 and 8:40am on April 21 police say a vehicle struck a gray Chevy Lumina Euro at Linden and Second avenues. Police say they are investigating this incident as a hit-and-run accident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040.
Woman Arrested for DUI Following Bachman Street Traffic Stop

On April 22 at 1:32am police say they stopped Courtney Jean Koch, 23, of the 1600 block of Coventry Court, Bethlehem, for a summary traffic violation on Bachman Street. Police said that through further investigation, they determined Koch to be under the influence of alcohol. She was transported to the Easton DUI Center and submitted to chemical testing, which indicated her blood alcohol content (BAC) to be .18 percent, police said. Koch has been charged with DUI, they added.
Police Investigating Criminal Mischief on Detweiler Avenue

Sometime between 7:20pm on April 28 and 11:30am on April 29 police say a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Detweiler Avenue was the scene of a criminal mischief incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department.
Man Charged With Presenting False ID to Law Enforcement
On April 30 at 10:25pm police say they stopped a vehicle in which Pedro Lu Freytes-Ferrer, 21, of the 300 block of Northampton Street, Hellertown, was an occupant. Police said in a press release that the vehicle was stopped at Saucon and Northampton streets, and that Freytes-Ferrer presented them with a false name. He has been charged with "False ID to Law Enforcement," a third-degree misdemeanor, police said.
