Man Found With Heroin Paraphernalia: Police

Hellertown Police say Karl Haas Schenley, 47, of Saylor Park Drive, Whitehall, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Whitehall man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, after Hellertown Police say he was found to be in possession of "multiple syringes, spoons, Q-tips and wax packets used to store heroin" following a West Water Street traffic stop.

In a news release, police said Karl Haas Schenley, 47, of the 5100 block of Saylor Park Drive, was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a Title 75 violation at 9:20 a.m. April 11.

Police said charges against Schenley have been filed in district court in Lower Saucon Township.
