Man Tried to Sell Subscriptions Without Permit, Police Say
Lower Saucon Township police say that on April 24, Michael Stewart, 24, of Youngstown, Florida, knocked on doors and attempted to sell magazine subscriptions without a permit to solicit within the township.

A Florida man was cited by last month for allegedly attempting to sell magazine subscriptions door-to-door, without a permit to solicit within the township.
According to a police department press release, both Lower Saucon and Hellertown police were dispatched simultaneously on April 24 at approximately 6:30pm, after receiving reports of numerous individuals knocking on doors.
Police said the individuals who were knocking on doors in the township were in the area of Mountain Drive North.

"Some (were) selling items, (while) others (were) asking for money," police said.
When police made contact with Michael Stewart, 24, of the 6200 block of Buckingham Road, Youngstown, Fla., they say they learned he did not have a permit to solicit and "was also found to have warrants for failure to appear for charges of 'selling without a license' in Georgia."

Steward was cited under the Township's Solicitation Ordinance, police said.
