Obituary: David E. Kane, 67, of Williams Township

David E. Kane, 67, of Williams Township died April 5, 2012 in an unforeseen accident at his home. He was the husband of Jo-Anne K. (Danek) Cirafesi-Kane. He was born in Teaneck Township, N.J. on Nov. 4, 1944 to the late Ernest Walter and Mildred Grace (Rodamer) Kane. He proudly and faithfully served our country in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War, as an Army Ranger. David was a math teacher at Piscataway High School in Piscataway, N.J. from 1980 to 2002, and also taught in Bridgewater and Scotch Plains, N.J. He was a member of , Hellertown. He earned two master's degrees, in engineering and education. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Lafayette #27 F & A Lodge in New Jersey. He was a master wood and leather craftsman.

Survivors:

In addition to his loving wife of 15 years; children: Daniel C. (Karen) Kane of Edison, N.J., Lisa M. Kane of Edison, N.J.; stepson: Chad R. (Judy) Cirafesi of Savannah, Ga., Craig S. (Jessica) Cirafesi of Branchburg, N.J.; sister: Kathy (Tom) Owens of DeSoto, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to his memorial service, which will be held at 9:30am Saturday, April 14, 2012 at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 735 Delaware Ave., Hellertown (610-838-9355). There will be no calling hours. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
