Obituary: Gail P. Kriebel, 63, Formerly of Hellertown
Gail P. Kriebel, 63, of Bethlehem and formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, April 12, 2012.

Gail P. Kriebel, 63, of Bethlehem, formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Robert A. "Bob" Kriebel. She was born in Cortland, N.Y. on April 14, 1948 to Miriam (Allen) Irvine Newcomb and the late G. Walter Irvine. She was a member of the library staff at Lehigh University for 25 years. She was previously on the staffs of the Bethlehem and Easton public libraries. A lifelong music lover and performer gifted with a glorious voice, Gail sang in her church choirs, in various bands and in the mixed quartet, My Better Half. She was also a well-known actor in Saucon Valley Fine Arts Productions. She was an active member and past president of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley (UUCLV).
Survivors:
In addition to her loving husband and mother; children: Benjamin Kupferschmid of Baltimore, Md., Carolyn Kupferschmid of Allentown; stepchildren: Katherine Lanious of Naples, Fla., Theresa Pinho (Joe) of Bethlehem, Rebecca Kriebel of Hellertown, Michael Kriebel of Pittsburgh; sister: Susan Smayda (John) of Southington, Conn.; sister-in-law: Pat King of Point Richmond, Cal.; grandchildren: Kylie and Dominic Pinho, Luis Santiago-Kupferschmid, and her first husband Steven Kupferschmid.Â

Service:
A memorial service will be held at 4pm Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the UUCLV, 424 Center St., Bethlehem. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the , Hellertown.
