Obituary: Gladys F. Koder, 67, of Springfield Township

Gladys F. Koder, 67, of Springfield Township, died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Quakertown on Nov. 24, 1944 to the late George J. and Edna I. (Wohlbach) Koder. She worked as an LPN and EEG Tech at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill for 23 years. Gladys was the Superintendent and Secretary of the Springtown Cemetery. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Springtown, the Springtown Volunteer Fire Company, the Springfield Township Historical Society, the Keystone Mountain Riders Rescue Unit, and a Certified Dog Trainer.

Survivors:

Sisters: Arlene M. Kotash of Wilmington, Del., Patricia A. wife of Joseph J. Kadelock of Springtown; nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Annie.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from 7 to 8:30pm Monday, June 4, 2012 and from 9 to 10am Tuesday at the , 326 Main St., Hellertown. The Tuesday calling hour will be followed by the service at 10am. The interment will conclude services at Springtown Cemetery, Springfield Township.
