Obituary: Shirley A. 'Betsy' Frey, 60, of Hellertown

Shirley A. "Betsy" Frey, 60, of Hellertown, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was born in Fountain Hill on Feb. 14, 1952 to the late Harry A. Frey Sr. and Mildred R. (Zimmerman) Frey. Betsy worked as a legal assistant at , Hellertown for 32 years. She was a member of , where she was active in Choir, Bell Choir, Director of Vacation Bible School, Director of Christian Education, past Treasurer and past Council Member. She led workshops throughout the NE PA Synod for Christian Education. She volunteered for Thrivent Financial.

Survivors:

Siblings: Patricia A. White of St. Cloud, Fla., Harry A. Frey Jr. and his wife Kirsta of Freemansburg; niece and nephews: Jimmy D. White, Jennifer V. Bauder, Michael C. Frey and Cole A. Frey, as well as great nephew Matthew and great nieces: Olivia, Alexis and Ashley; and countless friends.

Service:

The Memorial Service will be at 2pm Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her church, Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon, 2190 Easton Road, Bethlehem. The interment will conclude services at . The Rev.
