Obituary: Thelma J. Bauder, 92, of Hellertown

Thelma J. Bauder, 92, of Hellertown, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Clarence H. Bauder, who passed away on May 27, 1979. She was born in Rockdale on July 3, 1919 to the late Frederick C. and Acquillia S. (Reitz) Keichel. She worked as a Floor Lady at Surefit, Bethlehem for 35 years until retiring. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon, where she was involved with mission workers, social ministries and the prayer shawl ministries. She was also a member of Hellertown Woman's Club and Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors:

Daughter: Helen R. wife of Thomas H. Seifert of Williams Township; great-grandson: Benjamin Scott Seifert and his mother Theresa L. Seifert of Lower Saucon Township; three nieces; companion: William H. Seifert of Bethlehem Township. She was predeceased by her grandson, Captain Christopher Scott Seifert who passed away on March 23, 2003; and her brother, Frederick C., who passed away on May 9, 2009.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11am Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at , 2190 Easton Road, Bethlehem. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11am.
