Police: Woman Assaulted Grandmother, Fled on Bike
Cassandra Butryn-Green, 18, of Hellertown, allegedly kneed her grandmother in the chest during a dispute over a cell phone April 2.
A Hellertown teenager was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail Monday after allegedly assaulting her grandmother in the 1600 block of Main Street, according to a story published Tuesday by the Express-Times.
Court records cited in the story indicate that Cassandra Butryn-Green, 18, of the 1600 block of Main Street, argued with her grandmother over a cell phone Monday evening.
Butryn-Green's grandmother, identified as Kathleen M. Butryn, was allegedly kneed in the chest during a struggle for the phone.

After allegedly slashing window blinds and a screen door at the home, Butryn-Green is alleged to have fled on a bicycle.
According to the article, police located the teen near the home and arrested her a short time after the incident occurred.

Arraigned before District Judge James Narlesky, Butryn-Green has been charged with harassment, criminal mischief and simple assault, according to the article.
