SVHS Earns 4 Freddy Nominations for 'Anything Goes'

'Anything Goes' cast and crew members from Saucon Valley High School were nominated for Freddy Awards in four different categories Thursday. The awards will be given out later this month.

Saucon Valley High School students received four Freddy Award nominations Thursday for their spring production of the musical "Anything Goes."

Nominations were received in the following categories:

Outstanding Achievement in Lighting

Outstanding Use of Scenery

Outstanding Featured Performance by an Actor - Davis Weaver as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh

Outstanding Production Number - "Blow, Gabriel, Blow"

The Freddy Awards are given annually to local high school students for outstanding achievements in dramatic productions.

The 2013 Freddies will be presented Thursday, May 23 at 7 p.m. at the State Theatre in Easton. The awards ceremony will be televised live by WFMZ-TV Channel 69 and live-streamed at www.wfmz.com.
