Woman Stole Payroll Check, Police Say
Hellertown Police say Theresa Henriques, 50, of the 800 block of Detweiler Avenue, stole and illegally cashed a paycheck at a local grocery store.
A borough woman who allegedly stole and then cashed another woman's payroll check has been charged with theft, receiving stolen property and bad checks, Hellertown Police say.
According to a police department press release, Theresa Henriques, 50, of the 800 block of Detweiler Avenue, cashed the alleged stolen check at a Bottom Dollar grocery store in Bethlehem.
Police said the incident occurred March 6.

Charges against Henriques have been filed in district court, they added.
