2 Photos Show Storm Progress In Horsham
Police shared images of a usually busy Horsham intersection just hours apart during the winter storm. Take a look at them here.
HORSHAM, PA — A pair of photographs shared just hours apart by police in Horsham showed how roadways fared during the winter storm.
Horsham ended up with about 12.5 inches of snow from the storm, which started on Sunday afternoon and continued in earnest through Tuesday evening. Thankfully, the area has so far avoided major power outages and many of the other problems storms usually bring.
But that doesn't mean it didn't get rough out there.

At 7:41 a.m. on Tuesday, Horsham ChATs shared two photos of road conditions. One of them was the intersection of Welsh and Limekiln roads.

In the photo, taken from a patrol car, it's hard to even tell where the roadway starts and stops because of the thick layer of snow covering it.

In that post, police urged residents to stay off of the roads because of the snow and icy sludge covering many of them.
Then, as the team would write, what a different eight hours makes. The account shared another photo of the same intersection at 4:24 p.m. That was after Horsham's public works crews had been through to clear the roads.

That photo is crystal clear, with roads that look normal, aside from the snow piled up alongside them.
"Thanks to our amazing public works team for all their hard work during this storm," Horsham ChATs wrote in the post.
