Apartment Complex Acquired For Blair Mill Road Widening
Horsham Township officials are working toward Phase III of the road improvement project.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Phase III of the Blair Mill Road widening project is moving along.
MIRIA, the township's municipal authority, recently acquired the 9-unit Shelby Apartments property at 112-124 Easton Road, directly adjacent to its Adam’s Pit Stop property.
Township officials said the purchase was deemed a priority acquisition as traffic engineers sought to include the property in Phase III of the township’s Blair Mill Road widening project, which is in its planning stages.

Adding the property to the project will afford an extended right-hand turn lane from Blair Mill Road to North Easton Road, with excess property to be available for a gateway project into Horsham Township, officials said.
Act 101 allows state taxes generated on specific parcels to be directed to MIRIA to assist in reimbursement of the cost of remediating PFC contamination, and associated with military installations.
