Car Fire Spreads To House In Horsham

Horsham ChATs said the township's fire company had a busy Tuesday with three calls, including the Easton Road car fire.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —A car fire spread to a building on Easton Road on Tuesday afternoon, destroying the vehicle but causing minor damage to a house, Horsham ChATs said.

Horsham Community Police Services said fire crews responded at 3:12 p.m. on Tuesday to the 100 block of Easton Road to a report of a car fire that had spread to an adjacent building.

Some delays and possible road closures of Easton Road between Blair Mill and Fair Oaks Avenue were reported.

Horsham ChATs said it was a busy night for the Horsham Township Fire Company.

Following the Easton Road fire, the fire company responded at 5:25 p.m. to a fire in the woods and field on the 200 block of Beatrice Avenue, and at 5:34 p.m. for a vehicle rescue on the 1000 block of Limekiln Pike.
