Election 2024: 3rd Telephone Town Hall For Montco Voters

The Montgomery County Board of Elections will answer questions Tuesday from residents about having a secure Election Day on Nov. 5.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —Montgomery County will host a third telephone town hall Tuesday night to discuss its plans to ensure a safe, secure, and accessible Election Day.

The special town hall will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday by representatives from the Montgomery County Board of Elections and the Voter Services team.

The town hall will allow residents to ask questions, provide feedback, and more.

Montgomery County law enforcement has announced plans for the Nov. 5 general election on how to handle potential election interference, irregularities, and related threats to democracy on Election Day.

A special Election Tip Line has been set up — 610-292-2024 — for residents to report any suspicious activity around ballot boxes at the polls, or any threats to public officials.

Montgomery County Detectives will investigate all tips, and potential threats will be undertaken by the newly created Threat Assessment Management Unit, which was created specifically to handle issues that damage the community at large.

On Election Day, a special team of prosecutors and detectives will be "ready to assist" in the event of any compromising incidents.
