Man Caught For Firing Bullet Into Hatboro Home

Hatboro Borough Police have charged a 34-year-man for the incident on Aug. 19.

HATBORO, PA — A man wanted for firing a bullet through a borough home has been arrested and charged with the crime, police said.

The Hatboro Police Department began an investigation after a resident found a bullet had been fired through their residence on Aug. 19.

Hatboro Police interviewed numerous people, collected physical evidence, and had it forensically examined. A warrant was then issued for the arrest of 34-year-old Colin Eckstrom.

On Tuesday, Eckstrom was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Eckstrom was charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, possession of a prohibited firearm, and recklessly endangering another person.

He was arraigned by District Justice Juanita Price, with bail set at $77.
