Flood Watch Issued For Eastern Montco
The National Weather Service said thunderstorms Friday could bring several inches of rain to the region.

EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —A flood watch has been issued for all of Montgomery County from Friday morning until Saturday afternoon.
Horsham Community Police Services said the flood watch went into effect at 6 a.m. Friday and runs through 2 p.m. Saturday.
The risk for thunderstorms and excessive rainfall has been increased across the county, with the greatest impact still expected in the far eastern end, according to the National Weather Service of Mount Holly.

Updated rainfall totals could now reach 2 inches in the eastern half of the county and 1.5 inches in the western half, the weather service said.
Localized flash flooding is possible in urban and poor drainage areas and could result in road closures, officials said.
