New Council President, Vice President Named In Hatboro
The Hatboro Borough Council held its reorganization meeting on Monday night.

HATBORO, PA — The Hatboro Borough Council reorganized on Monday night, naming a new president and vice president for the board in 2026.
Councilwoman Nicole Reichner will serve as president of the seven-member council, replacing George Bollendorf, who held the post for the past eight years.
Councilwoman Amanda Jacobus, who won re-election in November, will serve as vice president. Councilman Alex Myers will remain as Council Pro-Tem.

State Rep. Nancy Guenst attended the 2026 reorganization meeting at Borough Hall. Mayor Tim Schultz was excused from the meeting.
Bollendorf faces a summary trial on Wednesday before District Justice Todd Stephens. He was cited for Failure to Yield The Right Of Way to a Pedestrian.

Borough Manager Diane Hegele and staff say they are looking forward to working with the residents and business owners and having "a very productive and successful year ahead."
Hegele administered the oath of office to Bollendorf, Councilman Don Hoover, Myers, Councilwoman Jen Hendrickson, Jacobus, Schultz, and Tax Collector April Mount alongside their families before the reorganization meeting.
