HATBORO, PA —The Hatboro Borough Police Department has issued a warrant for the arrest of a 23-year-old man wanted for falsifying paperwork to obtain a firearm illegally.

Hatboro Police seek the whereabouts of Tomas Amorim, who is charged with one count of the sale or transfer of firearms and one count of unsworn falsification to authorities.

On Nov. 22, 2024, police responded to a report of an individual attempting to buy a firearm using false information.

Following an investigation, it was discovered that Amorim had provided misleading details on the necessary paperwork for the firearm purchase.

As a result, police have issued a warrant for his arrest.
