Power Outages, Flooding Possible From Storm In Horsham
Horsham ChATs said residents should prepare for potential flooding and power outages with the storm starting Friday.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Here comes the rain again.
Horsham Community Police Services is alerting residents about this week's second storm that is expected to bring heavy rains again to the region starting late Friday afternoon or early evening.
Horsham authorities said the township "got lucky" weathering the storm earlier this week.

Horsham ChATs said residents should be prepared for significant weather developments starting sometime Friday and lasting into Saturday.
Heavy rain and flooding will affect the entire region.

Estimates are between 0.5 - 1.5 inches with the heaviest rain Friday night through Saturday morning. River flooding risk continues through Saturday and beyond. Flooding will be exacerbated for rivers that will still be flooded, Horsham ChATs said.
Southeast to south winds Friday night, turning southwest to west into Saturday. Tree damage and power outages are possible. Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with 40 to 50 mph gusts. The strongest winds are more likely to occur Friday night, however strong winds continue into Saturday.
Many rivers will remain in flood stage through the next rain event. Slower-responding rivers may not crest until Friday.
Horsham ChATs said water levels should also be monitored for flooding in Montgomery County. Three waterways are forecast to hit flood levels:
- Schuylkill River at Pottstown: Highest forecast: 10.3 feet at 7 p.m. Saturday.
- Perkiomen Creek at Graterford: Highest forecast: 8.6 feet at 7 a.m. Saturday.
- Schuylkill River at Norristown: Highest forecast: 12.8 feet at 1 p.m. Saturday.
