MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — The Five Points Intersection will be shut down in Montgomery Township overnight next month for overhead sign construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

The closure will be in place from 11 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5 to 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 6.

The frenetic intersection bringing together Bethlehem Pike, Horsham Road (Cowpath Road), and Doylestown Road (U.S. 202) has been the focus of a $14.2 million construction improvement project, as officials work to reduce congestion and improve safety in the area.
