Bethlehem Pike Reopens After Gas Leak Wednesday Morning

The road was shut down early Wednesday.

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — Bethlehem Pike was shut down briefly on Wednesday morning after a gas leak, police said.

The roadway was reopened by about 9:25 a.m.

The road had been shut down from the Five Points intersection to McGlaughlin Road, in both the northbound and southbound direction.

The cause of the leak is not yet clear.
