MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — One of the region's busiest intersections will be shut down overnight next month for construction.

A large overhead sign structure will be removed from Montgomery Township's Five Points Intersection.

The closure will be in place from 11 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4 to 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5.

One of the area's key intersections, Five Points brings together Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike), Route 463 (Horsham Road/Cowpath Road), and Business U.S. 202 (Doylestown Road).

Drivers will be detoured during the closure from each direction.
