Hatfield's W. Broad Street Closure In Place For Months

HATFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Utility improvement work has begun on W. Broad Street in Hatfield which will keep a portion of the road shut down through December.

The work, led by the North Penn Water Authority, began on Oct. 9 and will continue through Dec. 20.

Crews are improving utilities along the road, which is a portion of Route 463. The closure will impact West Broad Street from Main Street to Towamencin Avenue.

The detour will take drivers to Cowpath Road, Orvilla Road, and Welsh Road.

Additional traffic in the area is expected.

Local access will be maintained.
