Lansdale/Doylestown SEPTA Line Delayed Due To Signal Issues
Heavy delays swamped multiple regional rail lines Tuesday morning, including Lansdale/Doylestown.

LANSDALE, PA — SEPTA's regional rail lines experienced heavy delays Tuesday morning, including the Lansdale/Doylestown line, due to issues that were traced all the way to 30th Street Station.
SEPTA described "signal issues" as the root cause of the delays.
"Service is operating with delays of up to 1 hour due to signal issues near 30th Street Station," SEPTA said in a statement.

The issues were "resolved" by around 9 a.m., SEPTA said, but the delays continued into the mid-morning and many riders experienced delays of more than an hour.
The timing of the signal problems also meant that the morning commute was heavily impacted.

The issues come just weeks after SEPTA suffered serious delays due to the extreme heat.
