Lansdale's First Friday: Road Closures, Chili Cookoff Details, More

LANSDALE, PA — October's First Friday celebrations will be held in Lansdale Oct. 3, marking the return of the beloved Chili Cookoff.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m.

Chili Cookoff judging by the general public will take place between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., with the winner crowned at the closing of the contest.

First Friday will also feature a beer garden, Railroad Plaza DJ, a wide variety of food vendors, kids zone, games, and more.

Road closures

Madison Street will be shut down Friday afternoon through the evening.

The closure will be in place from W. Main Street to N. Wood Street.

It will begin at 3 p.m. and continue until 10 p.m.

No through-traffic will be permitted and police urge residents to remove their vehicles ahead of time.
