Loaded Gun Stolen from Unlocked Car in Upper Gwynedd

The car was entered during the overnight hours of July 26 on the 400 block of West Prospect Avenue, police said

A loaded gun was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 400 block of West Prospect Avenue in Upper Gwynedd during the overnight of July 25 into July 26, police said.

On Thursday morning, Upper Gwynedd Township Police officers responded to the 400 block of West Prospect Avenue for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle, police said.

The homeowner told police that a loaded gun was stolen from his unlocked car during the overnight, police said.

Detectives are gathering evidence and pursuing all leads in the investigation, police said.
