Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?
Let me start back to Feb 14 2010. My daughter Jodie was in a horrific car accident that took her life. Needless to say our lives stopped that day.
My 4 Grandchildren were Devastated They were so young. Jordan was 9. When growing up they were always involved in Sports and the Phillies were their #1 team. The last thing they did was to go to Phillies game and the World Series Parade in Philly
Jordan has thrived playing little league, travel teams, and now a starter pitcher (Lefty) for Penn State, he was also instrumental in taking his high school baseball team Souderton to the PIAA state championship. Which they won. He is a very humble kid and never taking all the credit but giving his teammates the credit for his wins.
Throughout the past 12 years when he could certainly go down other paths to show his grief, he chose baseball (his moms favorite sport to peruse his career.)
To know Jordan is to see his love and passion.
He also remembers his mom every time he’s on the mound.
He will warm up then he puts her initials JM 2/14/2010 in the dirt.
This is also inscribed in all his gloves.
He is humble and an all-around great kid, (now growing into the man my daughter would be so proud of), as all my grandchildren have grown up without their mother, they each follow their mothers' footsteps. I’m so Proud of all of them!
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?
He is humble and passionate
Keep up the great work, Jordan Morales!
