North Penn Water Authority To Flush, Inspect All Hydrants
Some water discoloration could occur in the coming weeks.
LANSDALE, PA — North Penn Water Authority will begin its annual hydrant inspection and flushing efforts later this month, which could lead to some water discoloration around the service area, officials said.
Work will take place from March 30 through May 25.
Flushing and inspection ensures that hydrants are working properly and can be readily accessed in case of a fire. It also improves water quality by removing build-ups inside water pipes.
