• Latrobe to add accessible curb ramps at sites north of Depot Street (triblive.com) — Latrobe is set to add new accessible curb ramps at seven sidewalk locations north of Depot Street next year, using $80,000 in federal community development block grant funding. City officials say the project, now awaiting HUD review, follows recent ramp upgrades on Jefferson Street and could be joined by a separate grant request to improve accessibility at city hall.
   

• AAA: National Average Falls Below $3 (explorevenango.com) — Latrobe drivers are paying about $3.198 per gallon for regular gas this week, slightly below the Western Pennsylvania average of $3.239. AAA reports national prices have dipped under $3 for the first time in four years, helped by lower crude oil costs, higher gasoline supplies, and weaker demand.
