• Lancaster County Toys for Tots sees 17% rise in demand for donations (wgal.com) — Lebanon County’s Toys for Tots chapter is urgently seeking hundreds of additional toys for local girls ages 7 to 15 as demand for help has risen across the region. Along with Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, and Gettysburg/Hanover, the Lebanon chapter reports a 17% overall increase in need over two years and is asking residents to pitch in with unwrapped toy donations this week.

• Lebanon protesters respond to U.S. Rep. Meuser's Pottsville town hall (usatoday.com) — Lebanon County residents are pressing U.S. Rep. Dan Meuser for a true in-person town hall in Lebanon after many local protesters say they were effectively shut out of a small Pottsville forum. Demonstrators continue weekly “Mondays with Meuser” gatherings at the Lebanon County Courthouse, criticizing limited invitations, lack of press access, and what they describe as defensive answers on health care, shutdown politics, and other national issues.
